The Sanctuary

The Sanctuary is a family-run dance studio, cafe, bar and events venue right in the centre of Stone, Staffordshire.

Our instructor Oliver Hand is an international Ballroom and Latin Dancing champion, but don’t let that put you off — we genuinely welcome everyone, from complete beginners to those looking to compete. We offer Ballroom, Latin, and Line Dancing classes for adults and kids, and if you’d rather learn one-to-one, private lessons are available too.

The venue itself is a great space — 3,000 sq ft with a proper sprung dance floor, a café, and a cocktail bar. It’s the kind of place where you can come for a Tuesday night line dancing class and end up staying for drinks with people who become regulars. We also host weddings, parties, corporate events, and even soft play sessions for little ones.
